BEST LOW CARB KETO TAQUITOS CHEESE WRAPPED CHICKEN IDEA
Ingredients
2 C. Grilled skinless chicken
1 tbsp. L. Olive oil
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp L. Cumin
1 tsp paprika
½ teaspoon oregano
2 to 4 TBSP. Chopped green chilli (optional)
8 oz. Colby Jack Cheese
1-2 tbsp. L. Chopped green onion for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Hand grinds 8 ounces of Colby Jack cheese. Pre-crushed cheese also does not melt in the oven, which helps to properly prepare takitos, so for this recipe it is better to grind the cheese by hand.
- Make 6 round mounds of grated cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave a space between each heap of cheese so that it has room for expansion during baking. Bake for 8 minutes.
- While the cheese is baking, put 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat on a stove.
- Add chicken, spices and green chili peppers (optional) to the pan, and cook until tender and mix well.
