THE BEST SHRIMP QUESADILLAS

THE BEST SHRIMP QUESADILLAS

A delicious mixture of spicy shrimp, fried onions and sweet peppers, garlic and cream cheese, crunchy in tortilla. These quesadillas are a simple and tasty way to enjoy shrimp!
Calling all shrimp lovers! These delicious quesadilla shrimps are a must try. We have done them countless times and will do them forever. They are very fast and easy to prepare, full of flavor and vibrant shrimp.

All this is done in one pan in 20 minutes. First, onions, bell peppers and garlic stew for a minute. Then the shrimp and seasonings are added and cooked for another one or two minutes (note: the shrimp is cooked in literally minutes, so I like to cook them).

Now all that remains is to add a little shrimp mixture to the tortilla, put the cheese and toast on top until crisp. The result is crispy quesadillas filled with cheese shrimp and a mouth-watering combination of flavors that is not from this world!

Ingredients

1 pound raw medium peeled shrimp
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup sweet pepper
Chop 2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of taco seasoning or 1 tablespoon of chili powder and 1/2 teaspoon of EACH garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, paprika, ground cumin, salt, black pepper
1-2 cups mozzarella cream cheese, cheddar, mexican mix or monterey jack
6-8 medium flour cakes

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan or pan. Add chopped onion, bell pepper and garlic. Cook for 1 minute or until cooked.
  2. Add seasoning to the shrimp and tacos and cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the shrimp turns pink.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, rinse and bring down the pan with a paper towel. Return the pan to the fire and spray the sprinkler or brush with about 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil.
  4. Place the tortilla in a pan and sprinkle cheese on one side of the tortilla. Spoon about 5-6 shrimps or enough to cover with another sprinkle with cheese. Fold the cake in half. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy. Repeat to deploy the cakes.
  5. Serve with sour cream, salsa or guacamole.
